A couple of weeks ago, I was interviewed by Ben Riga, senior technical evangelist at Microsoft and Alan Mendelevich from AdDuplex for the bi-weekly AppBizDev podcast. It was quite an enjoyable talk with some very interesting questions (and hopefully answers). One thing is for sure, Ben had done his homework :) We talked about everything, game development on Windows Phone and the Amiga, MonoGame and Unity and more. You can listen the interview over at the official podcast page here:

If you are interested in WSN related research, my PhD thesis which I defended in December 2012 is now freely available from the University of Geneva website.
Here is the abstract:
“This thesis explores dierent techniques that can be used to visualize several aspects of Wireless Sensor Networks research. We will present software tools and setups as well as dierent scenarios which benet from our approach. The utility of our visualization techniques as well as having real-time and time-delayed visualization systems will be explored in both simulated wireless sensor networks as well as physical real deployed sensors forming wireless sensor networks.”

Well I am back from Mobile World Congress 2013 in Barcelona and I had lots of fun. Met some nice people, learned a lot and saw a lot. I can now say that at least for apps and games for mobile, I feel like I have a new perspective on many things. Let’s see how well this will help me in future games.
Here are some pictures I took with my Lumia 920 during the MWC 2013 week.
